Recently, the Shanghai Municipal Administration for Market Regulation officially issued the "Notice on Issuing the 2026 Shanghai Standardization Pilot Projects" (Shanghai Market Supervision Standard [2026] No. 177). Following a rigorous process including self-application by the company, recommendation by the industry regulatory authority and district market supervision bureau, material review, and consultation, the "Standardization Pilot Project for Construction Services of Complete Sets of Equipment for Resource Utilization of Solid (Construction) Waste" submitted by Shanghai SANME Environmental Protection Equipment Co., Ltd. was successfully approved, becoming one of the 2026 Shanghai Standardization Pilot Projects.
This approved standardization pilot project is in the service industry sector (Project No.: S26-03-010), with a pilot period of 2 years, and all pilot tasks will be completed by the end of 2028. This project will conduct standardized research and practice on the entire process of constructing complete sets of equipment for the resource recovery of solid (construction) waste. It will focus on key business aspects such as customized design, manufacturing, delivery, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance, and technical services for complete sets of equipment. By streamlining business processes, addressing standard gaps, and constructing a service standard system adapted to the construction solid waste resource recovery scenario, the project aims to transform mature engineering practices into replicable and scalable standardized models through standardization. This will empower equipment manufacturing quality improvement and service capability upgrades, addressing the pain points of inconsistent service processes and varying service quality within the industry, and leading the standardized development of the construction solid waste resource recovery equipment service industry.
Construction waste resource recovery is a crucial link in building "zero-waste cities" and promoting the high-quality development of a circular economy.
