Against the backdrop of comprehensively promoting the construction of "zero-waste cities," the resource utilization of construction waste is becoming an important growth point for the green building materials industry. The Sanmenxia 100-ton/hour demolition and construction waste resource utilization project, with complete equipment and solutions provided by Shanghai SANME Environmental Protection Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shanghai SANME"), has been operating stably and achieving remarkable results since its commissioning, setting another benchmark for the reduction, harmlessness, and resource utilization of regional demolition and construction waste.
Project Overview
Located in Sanmenxia City, Henan Province, this project covers a total area of approximately 38 acres, with an annual processing capacity of 500,000 tons and a processing capacity of 100 tons of construction waste per hour. The project mainly processes demolition and construction waste, employing a dry processing technology of "multi-stage sorting + two-stage crushing + shaping + screening." Core equipment includes a vibrating feeder, jaw crusher, impact crusher, vertical shaft impact crusher, light material processor, air separator, magnetic separator, wet mixer, and vibrating screen. Through multi-stage crushing, shaping, and fine sorting of lightweight materials, the project can stably produce high-quality recycled aggregates in three specifications: 0-5mm, 5-10mm, and 10-25mm. Further processing can produce recycled permeable bricks, cement-stabilized crushed stone, lime-fly ash crushed stone, low-grade concrete, and a planned daily production capacity of 200,000 solid bricks, truly realizing a closed-loop cycle from construction waste to high-value green building materials. The project officially commenced operation in the second half of 2025. Its implementation has achieved the "reduction, resource recovery, and harmless treatment" of local construction waste, solving problems such as water and soil pollution and land resource occupation caused by landfilling, reducing the mining of natural sand and gravel, protecting river ecology, and contributing to the construction of a "zero-waste city" in Sanmenxia City.
During the project construction process, Shanghai SANME and the project owner, based on deep mutual trust, fully leveraged their respective advantages to jointly promote the high-standard implementation of the project. Leveraging over 20 years of experience in solid waste resource utilization, Shanghai SANME provided the Sanmenxia project with a customized, efficient, stable, and low-consumption overall solution, encompassing process design, equipment selection, and production line matching. Key project highlights include:
First, a multi-stage impurity removal system. Through a variety of impurity removal processes, including two-stage magnetic separation, negative pressure air separation, and fine air separation of finished products, impurities such as plastics, wood chips, and scrap iron are efficiently removed, ensuring high purity of the recycled aggregate.
Second, shaping and strengthening technology. A vertical shaft impact crusher is used to optimize the shape of the aggregate, significantly improving the particle shape and gradation of the recycled aggregate to meet the needs of high-value applications.
Third, a high-value product chain. The project extends beyond low-end landfilling to include permeable bricks, water-stabilized layers, and low-grade concrete, among other diversified green building materials, significantly improving economic benefits and resource utilization rates.

Core Equipment Showcase
The successful implementation of the Sanmenxia project further demonstrates Shanghai SANME's mature strength in providing "one-stop" solutions in the field of solid waste resource utilization. As a leading enterprise in China's solid waste treatment and resource utilization field, Shanghai SANME has served more than 130 projects nationwide, covering various types of waste such as demolition waste, renovation waste, construction waste, and bulky waste. Looking to the future, Shanghai SANME will continue to innovate, deepen its green intelligent manufacturing, and work with more partners to promote the transformation of construction waste from a "burden on the city" to an "urban resource," contributing more "SANME power" to the development of China's circular economy.
