According to China Sand & Stone Association, during the Spring Festival, a time for family reunion, the construction site of the 5 million tons/year tailings comprehensive recycling production line project in Chazhen Town, Changjiang, Hainan, is still a bustling scene of hard work. The builders stick to their posts, racing against time to advance the project progress and sprint for the completion goal, pressing the "accelerator" for the green industrial transformation of Changjiang.
At the project site, the reporter saw roaring machines, and workers performing their respective duties: transporting and unloading construction equipment, operating hoisting machinery for precise positioning, and welding key equipment. Every procedure is progressing intensely and orderly. At present, the overall project progress has reached 70%. Efforts are being focused on the installation of auxiliary equipment. The project is expected to be completed and undergo joint commissioning by the end of April this year to ensure production on schedule.
The project, with a total investment of 450 million yuan and covering about 137 mu, will build a high-standard, modern, intelligent and clean comprehensive solid waste utilization workshop integrating sorting, shaping sand making and dry separation, grinding, crushing, pressure filtration and finished product storage. After completion, the annual output value is expected to reach 400 million yuan, with annual tax contribution exceeding 50 million yuan, driving upstream and downstream supporting industries worth over 100 million yuan, and boosting the high-quality economic development of Changjiang.
As the general equipment contractor of the project, Shanghai Shanmei Co., Ltd. will provide a full-chain service including process design, core equipment manufacturing, electrical control system integration, supply of steel structures and non-standard parts, installation, commissioning and technical training for the whole production line.
The production line features compact layout and high automation, including core equipment such as jaw crushers, cone crushers, vertical shaft impact crushers, roller sand makers, vibrating screens, jigs, ball mills, magnetic separators, thickeners and filter presses. It is equipped with an automatic control + intelligent operation system, meeting industrial, green, modular and intelligent production requirements. It truly converts traditional solid waste into high-value-added building materials and metallurgical raw materials, greatly improving resource utilization while effectively reducing environmental pressure and land occupation caused by tailings storage.
Lu Shifang, the on-site person in charge of Shanghai Shanmei, the EPC general equipment contractor of the 5 million tons/year tailings comprehensive recycling production line project of Zhixin Environmental Technology, said: "The installation of large-scale main equipment has been completed, with only some auxiliary machines left. During the Spring Festival, we had more than 50 construction workers and over 60 staff including managers. We prepared New Year’s Eve dinners and consolation goods for the workers, letting them spend the festival warmly while working hard."
To ensure continuous and accelerated construction during the Spring Festival, the project party made overall arrangements in advance, formulated a scientific construction plan, allocated sufficient personnel, equipment and materials, and strengthened full-chain safety and quality assurance to ensure on-site staffing, full-load machinery, continuous procedures and controllable progress. Meanwhile, warm logistical support was provided: New Year’s Eve dinners were prepared for front-line builders, and Spring Festival overtime bonuses and consolation goods were distributed, making construction more powerful and dedication warmer.
Ren Yingwei, the equipment installation team leader of Workshop 38# of the 5 million tons/year tailings comprehensive recycling production line project of Zhixin Environmental Technology, said: "Although I can’t go home for the festival, having a reunion dinner with colleagues and watching the Spring Festival Gala on New Year’s Eve warms my heart. With bonuses, spending the festival while working hard is really great."
